This post is about Blu. He's an italian artist with a style a little like that of Peter Booth. His images are pretty nightmarish and surreal but sort of humorous too I think.

Friends, Romans, countrymen.

lend me your ears.
This friday is opening night for a very talented bunch of musicians, actors and artists that make up the Four Larks Theatre company. They will be performing an adaptation of the Scandinavian story of 'Peer Gynt'. Their venue is some sort of warehouse in Richmond but it'll still be an intimate show. Going by previous productions this play will probably be a little avant-garde. But in a good way. . .Like the Micallef show or a film by Terrence Malick.

I'm told there will be music and dancing and trolls. Oh my!
It's on this weekend and it's on next weekend and then never again so tell me when you are free and I will make a booking.

Hello Kitty

I heard that girls like pictures of kittens.

Plus it sort of matches the theme of my livejournal here more than, say, pictures of jet planes and dancing cowboys.

(no subject for old men)

I'd again like to point out someone who looks like someone else. I reckon Andrew Bird's guitarist looks like a young version of the psycho from No Country For Old Men.

In a statement released through his lawyers Hicks said:
"They cursed us. Murderer they called us. They cursed us, and drove us away. And we wept, Precious, we wept to be so alone. And we only wish to catch fish so juicy sweet. And we forgot the taste of bread... the sound of trees... the softness of the wind. We even forgot our own name."
